About Joe Raio
Joe Raio is a Technical Program & Product Director at Microsoft, where he works with top Financial Services organizations to design and build innovative cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
A Miami native transplanted to Redmond, Washington, Joe is an active member of the developer community — speaking at local user groups, code camps, and international events such as Code Europe and Functions World. During his time at Microsoft he has received honors including Share Fighter Champion and Americas Gold Club.
Outside of work, Joe is a lifelong guitarist and singer, a recovering gear collector, and a perpetual home-lab tinkerer. He lives with his wife and two daughters.
What I’m up to
- Day job — Technical Program & Product Director at Microsoft, helping top Financial Services organizations adopt Azure.
- Speaking — user groups, code camps, and conferences including Code Europe and Functions World.
- Projects — I build the occasional weekend project, like a mobile-first client for the HDHomeRun TV tuner and a download automation tool for my home server.
- Music — singer and guitarist of the South Florida metal band Scars of Life.
