Introduction to Predictive Modelling

August 25, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Once you have data, often the next question is, what do you do with it? Well you can visualize it to describe the environment and that is useful, but what if you could predict outcomes based on previous experience?

This session will be an introduction to the art of predictive modelling. Don’t worry, we will also cover how to deploy a predictive model using Azure. Learn how to develop good model features. Learn what statistics determine a good model from a bad model and under what circumstances. Learn how to diagnose model issues and determine steps forward to improve model effectiveness in accordance to your target scenario.

This session is geared for beginners, however if you are an expert, it should prove useful and bring your questions!
